This winter iteration of the MSPT $1,100 Main Event saw a total of 139 players make their way out to play and grab a piece of the $200,000 prize pool and the elusive title. From that starting field to just 15 players, all of whom are guaranteed a shot at winning the title on Monday, November 27th.

Leading the way is Jeremy Eyer, who bagged 717,000. Eyer is already coming off of a record year for himself, scoring his biggest live score of $649,550 after winning a WSOP bracelet in 2023. The Mississippi native has two MSPT cashes here at Venetian and with this massive bag, he looks to make his third cash his biggest with the tour.

MSPT legend DJ Buckley (336,000) found a bag after hopping in at the last minute of registration. MSPT hall of famer Rob Wazwaz (285,000) also found a bag, adding more drama to the MSPT player of the year race. Others that found bags included WSOP bracelet winner Eric Baldwin (206,000), Yi “KitKat” Klassen (192,000), Qing Liu (167,000), and Michael Holtz (158,000). Each one of them is looking to be the newest champion on the tour.

Not all saw fortune smile on them. 5-time MSPT champion Blake Bohn saw his hopes for a bag vanish by day’s end. Others who didn’t make it included MSPT champions Kyna England and Rodger Johnson, as well as players like Brendan Shiller, Nicholas Pupillo, Terry Fleisher, and Christina “BabyShark” Gollins. Camille Brown and Jefferey Viergutz became the two bubbles at the end of the night. Each one of them will have plenty of opportunities tomorrow to play and secure a bag.

Play ended at the very beginning of Level 16, meaning that unless the players in the following flight end earlier, this will be the level they will return to on Monday November 27th. Stay tuned to MSPTPoker.com for all updates regarding The Venetian series.
