Paul Cross, who back in August topped a field of 1,169 entries (the biggest poker tournament in Minnesota history) to win the MSPT Canterbury Park Regional Event for $61,911. The man he beat heads-up for the title, Keith Heine, who took home $37,988 for finishing runner-up.

As fate would have it, Heine just got some revenge.

It happened when Cross raised to 5,000 from early position and Heine called from the small blind. Brian Berthiaume came along from the big and three players saw a flop of .

Two checks saw Cross continue for 10,000, only Heine called, and the dealer burned and turned the .

Heine check-called a bet of 28,000 and then moved all in on the river. Cross had roughly 30,000 back and snap-called off.
