The opening flight of the MSPT $360 Regional Event at Golden Gates attracted 148 runners, and after fifteen levels of play, it was Michael Fallis and his stack of 298,000 leading the way over the remaining 20 players. Others who found a big stack at the end of the day’s play include Lawrence Brink (278,000) and Tanya Davis (271,000), Rob Schoder (257,000) and John Reiter (237,500), while WSOP Colossus II Champ Ben Keeline (142,500), Ryan Dodson (95,500), Greg Geller (61,000) and Kevin Eyster (48,000) all found a Day 2 bag.
Those who were unfortunate enough to not bag today include Sammy Aweida, Season 6 Golden Gates $360 Regional Champ Bobby Sanoubane, Chris Barrett, and April’s Golden Gates $360 Regional Champ Barry Faecher.
Tomorrow’s Day 1B flight kicks off at noon, with Saturday’s Day 1C flight also starting at noon. Players that bag chips will come back Sunday at 11 and play down to a winner.
