Normally, exiting the Main Event mid-way through the day isn’t what players hope for but for MSPT champ Rodger Johnson, the case was rather different.

Johnson has been a regular on the tour since the beginning with his first ever cash coming in 2009 and his success has now come full circle after the North Dakota native won his first MSPT title here at Running Aces Casino back in 2012, he has now earned his seat in the coveted MSPT Hall of Fame with his 35th place finish here today.

The MSPT Hall of Fame, established in 2017, is proud to recognize those individuals who have shown superior skill and achieved specific long-term accomplishments.

The criteria to earn a spot on the MSPT Hall of Fame is as follows:

- Achieve a minimum of 25 MSPT Main Event Cashes and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year

OR

- Achieve a minimum of 10 MSPT Main Event Final Tables and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year
