Almost full day of action occurred during Day 1b the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) JACK Cleveland $1,110 Main Event as the hard stop was reased with 30:40 remaining in the final level of the evening.

The second of three flights drew 198 total entries setting yet another venue record for most entries logged during a Day 1b flight and brought the two-day total thus far to 363.

Of those 198 entries, just 23 players remained when pens went to slips with Thomas Volpe (653,000) edging out Dionta James (646,000) for the top stack of the second flight.

The only other player to breach the half milly mark was John Lanese (501,000), while Billy Kopp (488,000), and Jake Turkall (488,000) rounded out the top five stacks.

Much like Day 1a, the final level of the night saw an onslaught of casualties, with players such as Jason Bradley and Phil Chung among those to be eliminated before play concluded for the night with chips flying all across the three remaining tables in the final level of play that led to a lot of players riding roller coasters with their stack sizes before becoming official for the evening.

Several other familiar players will also be joining the aforementioned five. Steve Gagliano (282,000), Nick Lanzi (202,000), MSPT champ Bobby Noel (193,000), Ian Richardson (128,000), and Frank Lagodich (128,000), are just a few more of the players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 19 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

Among those not as lucky at the felt included David Hanna, Andrew Shields, and Thomas Carlin, along with MSPT champ's Ken Baime, Mike O’Neill, and Chris Meyers, with at least a few if not all of them likely to be seen back in action for the final flight.

The final starting flight for the Main Event is tomorrow starting at 12:15 p.m. EST.

Everyone who makes Day 2 will return on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. to play for the Season 15 MSPT $1,110 Main Event Title at JACK Cleveland Casino.
