Another full day of action occurred during Day 1b of the MSPT $1,100 Main Event 316 at the Venetian Resort, with18 full levels coming to completion as 38:00 minutes remained in Level 19 when the hard stop of 14 players was reached.

The second of three flights drew 77 runners, bringing the two-day total to 221 thus far with one flight remaining.

Of those entries, just nine players remained when the chips went into bags, and it was Francisco Tamayo who found himself atop the chip counts to end the night with a whopping 655,000.

Following behind Wantman was Tyler Stevenson, who sat atop the chip counts for most of the night to put 563,000 in his bag, while Jeremiah Fitzpatrick (445,000), Andrew Robinson (342,000), and Marc-Andre Yelle (331,000), rounded out the top five stacks.

Much like Day 1a, the final levels of the night saw an onslaught of casualties, with players such as Jeremy Ansher and Edward Jackson-Spivack among those to be eliminated before play concluded for the night.

Others who will be joining the aforementioned five include Bradley Miller (300,000), MSPT Champ Anthony Kastelic (261,000), Nikolai Mamut (259,000), and Brooks Floyd (136,000), as they are the only other players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 13 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

Among those not as lucky at the felt included Adam Owen, Ryan Hiller, Hunter Cichy, WSOP bracelet winner Darren Rabinowitz, 2023 WSOP Main Event third-place finisher Adam Walton, and Jessica Vierling, with at least a few, if not all of them, likely to be seen back in action tomorrow.

All who have yet to advance will have four more starting flights to jump back into the action, with Day 1c getting underway bright and early tomorrow at 10:10 a.m., followed by Day 1d at 6:10 p.m.

The final two starting flights will then take place on Monday, July 13^th, with Day 1e starting at 10:10 a.m. and Day 1f (turbo) starting at 6:10 p.m.

The surviving players from each flight will then return at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14^th, and will play down to a winner.
