With the start of Level 13, registration for Day 1b of the inaugural MSPT 1,100 Illinois Poker State Championship at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois, is now closed.

An astonishing 600 entries were recorded in this flight, and combined with the 373 entries from Day 1a, the total entries for the tournament now stand at 973, blasting past $750K GTD with one flight still to go tomorrow.

Tonight’s plan is to play until the hard stop of 11% of the field (66 players) is reached.

Only 42 players advanced from yesterday’s starting flight, and the tournament clock reads 135 players remaining with only 66 hopefuls looking to join them on the Day 2 roster as we head into the final levels of play this evening.
