MSPT Player of the Year
.jpg)
The MSPT Season 14 Player of the Year race went down to the wire, and it was MSPT Hall of Famer Umut Ozturk who was able to claim the top spot after his fellow Hall of Famer Rob WazWaz was eliminated late in yesterday’s Day 1b flight.
Ozturk and WazWaz had been neck-to-neck throughout the season, leapfrogging each other throughout the year racking up a record 16 cashes with five final table appearances apiece.
Ozturk has now cemented himself in the record book for most cashes in a single season (17) and will look notch another final table appearance in hopes of claiming his second MSPT title.
Cards will be in the air at 11:00 a.m. sharp with blind levels lasting 40-minutes in length and since Day 1b reached the earliest hard stop, that's the point where Day 2 will begin.
Action will pick up from Level 16 with 38:00 remaining on the clock where blinds will be 3,000/6,000/6,000.
