Day 1c of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) $1,110 Michigan State Poker Championship attracted an astonishing 1,221 runners, which along with 1a's 672 and 1b’s 990, brought the total field up to 2,883 entries, setting yet another MSPT record at FireKeepers Casino!
At the end of the third and final flight, 145 players bagged and with one person eclipsed the milly mark as James Tedrow put 1,034,000 on his slip to end the night, edging out Lelonad Arnold (886,000) for the top stack, which will be the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.
Others to bag big stacks where Connor Curtis (759,000), Brian Opyrchal (668,000), Bruce Simmons (639,000), and Lili Kiletto (615,000).
They were joined by MSPT Hall of Famer Blake Bohn (409,000), and MSPT champs, Ben Pettinger (357,000), Max Havlish (309,000), and Umut Ozturk (307,000).
Among those to see their night end on Day 1c were MSPT Hall of Famer Josh Reichard, along with former MSPT champs Rodger Johnson, Chan Pelton, Jonathan Kim, and Chris Meyers,
The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 293 (80 from Day 1a, 116 from 1b, and 145 from 1c) – will return at 10:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, October 16th to play down to a winner.
