Matt Porter raised to 450,000 from the small blind and three-time MSPT champ Carl Carodenuto defended his big blind to see a flop.

Porter led out with another 450,000 continuation bet and Carodenuto tossed out a call to see the pair the board on the turn.

Keeping his foot on the pedal, Porter led out with maximum pressure putting his 5,400,000 stack at risk and after some careful thought, Carodenuto called.

Carodenuto made the correct call as he was ahead holding trip kings until the peeled off on the river to complete Porter’s Broadway draw and secured his double-up.

After the hand, Carodenuto was left with just 300,000 and was eliminated shortly after in third place for $57,097.
