Day 1c of the MSPT Season 17 Michigan Poker State Championship attracted an astonishing 1,100 runners, which, along with 1a's 588 and 1b’s 863, brought the total field up to entries.
At the end of the third and final flight, only 121 players bagged, with Justin Chan finding himself atop the chip counts with 850,000, good enough for the fourth overall stack heading into Day 2.

Others to bag big stacks this flight were Edward Plane (693,000), “Wild” Bill Romer (676,000), Franklin Lo (676,000), and two-time MSPT Champ Kenneth Baime (665,000).

They were joined by WSOP bracelet winner Keven Stammen (662,000), MSPT Champ Dan Sepiol (622,000), 2023 Michigan Poker State Champion Travis Young (595,000), Sarah Stefan (446,000), MSPT Hall of Famer Umut Ozturk (285,000), fellow Hall of Famer Kou Vang (161,000), and three-time bracelet winner Dash Dudley (56,000).
Among those to see their night end on Day 1c were MSPT Hall of Famer Rich Alsup, Missy Bartelme, Jill Bryant, George Dietz, MSPT Champ George Janssen, and WSOP bracelet winner Will Givens.

The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 174 (62 from Day 1a, 92 from 1b, and 120 from 1c) – will return at 10:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 17th, and will play down to a winner.
