Day 1c of the MSPT Season 17 $1,110 Wisconsin Poker State Championship has come to an end at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, as the final starting flight brought in an astonishing 724 runners, which, along with 1a's 293 and 1b’s 551, brought the field total up to 1,568 entries.

At the end of the final flight, just 80 players bagged and tagged with WSOP bracelet winner Jean “Prince” Gaspard, bagging the top stack of 980,000, leading the charge into Day 2.

Following behind Gaspard was two-time MSPT Champ David Gonia, whose 778,000 stack will put him third in chips for Day 2, while MSPT Hall of Famer Rob WazWaz (677,000), Jacob Marynowski (656,000), and Alexander Doroshko (617,000) rounded out the top five stacks.

They were joined by MSPT Hall of Famer’s Aaron Johnson (526,000) & Gerald Cunniff (493,000), two-time MSPT Champ Ken Baime (465,000), Missy Bartelme (327,000), Sarah Stefan (307,000), Brett “Pops” Reichard (296,000), and MSPT Champ Jeff Copeland (214,000).

Among those who took their shot but fell short on Day 1c included Sam DeSilva, two-time MSPT Champ Angela Jordison, WSOP bracelet winner Robert Mitchell, MSPT champ Max Havlish, and Jason Crews just to name a few.

Day 2 will get underway at 11:00 a.m. local time and play to a winner, with 174 players (33 from Day 1a, 61 from 1b, and 80 from 1c) returning to the felt.

Each of the returning Day 2 players is guaranteed at least $1,968, with the eventual winner walking away with a $253,521 first-place prize.
