Timo Kamphue just got a tremendous boost to his chances of reaching Day 2.
Kamphue called a pre-flop bet of 18,500 from his opponent and the board came out . The opponent bet out another 14,500 chips getting another call from Kamphue.
Both players checked the on the turn and then the hit the river. After another check from his opponent, Kamphue fired away all-in for 130,000 chips. He got the call and turned over for trip eights. His opponent helicoptered his cards across the table and left his seat after being eliminated. The cards were shown to by for a pair of aces.
Camphue now stands at 235,000 chips with just over one remaining and 198 players still in the mix in Day 1c.
