There were a total of 297 entries during Flight B at the MSPT Black Hawk Main Event on Friday at the Bally’s Black Hawk Casino. By the end of play just 37 advanced to Day 2 on Sunday, January 29. The chip leader at the end of play was Michael Giardina with a stack of 616,000. Giardina was at the top of the leader board for most of the day, and he took out multiple players on his way to the top of the flight standings

Rounding out the top three chip stacks were Aaron Johnson who bagged up 477,000, and Roger Low with 375,000. Other notables that bagged up chips on the day were DJ Alexander (350,000), David Gonia (339,000), Kane Lai (241,000), Jared Ingles (196,000), Barb Visher (194,000), Jason Mendoza (184,000), Ashley Warren (138,000), and Thomas Schultz (80,000).

Notables that busted out of play today, but still have a chance to re-enter tomorrow included Jason Blount, David Levi, Eric Smidinger, Steve Wilkie, Madeline Robinson, Ranae Rodriguez, and Kate Hubert. Registration is open for re-entry until the start of Level 13 on Saturday until 9:10 pm.

Flight C begins tomorrow at Noon, and the field will play down to 12% of the remaining players from the total entries, or the end of Level 15, whichever comes first. There are now 59 players that have advanced from the first two flights from 481 total entries.
