Another full day of action occurred during Day 1b the MSPT Season 16 JACK Cleveland $1,110 Ohio Poker State Championship as the second of three flights drew in another 224 entries to bring the two-day total to 443 with one flight still to go.
Of the 224 entries that came out to play, just 24 players remained when pens went to slips with Tim Fleenor riding a late-night heater to bag 640,000, good enough for the overall top stack thus far.
Following behind Fleenor was Mike Valore who bagged an impressive 563,000 while Brian Springman just missed out on the half-milly mark bagging 487,000.
MSPT Champ Anthony Scarborough
Newly crowned MSPT Poker Bowl IX champ Anthony Scarborough grinded away throughout the day to end with a healthy 457,000 while Thomas Carlin (431,000) rounded out the top five stacks.
Much like Day 1a, the final level of the night saw an onslaught of casualties, with players such as WSOP bracelet winner Katie Kopp and Andy Hammell among those to be eliminated before play concluded for the night with chips flying all across the three remaining tables in the final level of play that led to a lot of players riding roller coasters with their stack sizes before becoming official for the evening.

Several other familiar players will also be joining the aforementioned five as three-time bracelet winner Sean Troha (378,000), Frank Lagodich (328,000), Mike Suggs (325,000), Rob Kovacevic (319,000), and two-time MSPT champ Chris Meyers (213,000), are just a few more of the players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 24 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

Among those not as lucky at the felt included Daniel Wolf, David Gutfreund, Cassondra Luttman, Nick Lanzi, and Casey Yontz, with at least a few if not all of them likely to be seen back in action for the final flight.

The final starting flight for the Main Event is tomorrow starting at 12:15 p.m. EST.
Everyone who makes Day 2 will return on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. to play for the Season 16 MSPT $1,110 Ohio Poker State Championship at JACK Cleveland Casino.
