The second and final starting flight of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Grand Falls $1,110 buy-in, $200K GTD is in the books.
Day 1b attracted 194 runners during Saturday's action, bringing the grand total to 391 entries (197 from Day 1a; 194 from 1b), generating a $377,770 prizepool.
After the completion of Level 15, just 29 players found a bag with Jovan Sudar and his stack of 368,000 leading the way. That was just 1,000 short of Day 1a chip leader Dave Swenson, who bagged 369,000.
Mike Estes (283,000), Matt Alexander (278,000), Luke Blindert (273,00) and MSPT champ Umut Ozturk (269,000) round out the top five stacks.
Others to punch their tickets to Day 2 were Terence Reid (207,000), Alex Wheeler (185,000), MSPT champ Max Havlish (139,00), MSPT Hall of Famer Blake Bohn (127,000), and MSPT champ Ryan Skluzak (124,000).
Day 2 will get underway bright and early at 11 a.m. local time and play to a winner with 56 players returning to the felt but only the top 45 finishers will be getting paid.
