MSPT Season 17 Grand Falls Remaining Schedule

Brett Slezak tossed out his last 3,000 from under the gun and saw a 25,000 raise get tossed into the middle before reigning Player of the Year Jake Long moved his stack into the middle from the small blind, giving him isolation.

Slezak was in rough shape after seeing Long roll over a pair of ladies, but he did see a four in the window on the flop, giving him some hope.

Things then got better for Slezak after the turn improved him to trips, while the river gave him a nine-high straight, securing him a much-needed quadruple-up on the bubble.

After Tyler Westra's elimination, only 17 players remain, meaning the hand-for-hand process has begun, as only 16 will make Day 2.

Yesterday’s starting flight saw Rick Leonard bag the top spot with 623,000, leading the 13 players who advanced from a 115-entry field, and the final 16 players who made it through tonight will join that group on Sunday, November 1^st, at 11:00 a.m. for Day 2.

Action on the table folded to MSPT Hall of Famer “DQ” Dan Hendrickson, who raised all-in from the small blind, and the big blind snapped off their shorter stack.
