Nick Koto was all-in preflop for 7,800 from the small blind, and Cero Zuccarello looked him up from the big blind.

Koto was ahead holding an ace and enjoyed the flop that paired it.

The dealer then brought a sweat with the turn, as it paired Zuccarello, but then followed with the on the river to secure Koto his double-up.

There were four players who took to a flop for 3,000 a pop, and action was checked to John Volgren, who fired out a 6,600 bet from the big blind.

Only Angela Gambino check-called from the small blind, and the two went heads-up to the turn.

Another knock on the table from Gambino saw Volgren go all-in, and she called off her shorter 16,400 stack.

There was three-way action on a board when Nate Shoshan led out with a 3,000 bet from the big blind, and only one of his opponents called to see the complete the board on the river.

Shoshan then led out with a final 10,000 bet, and it was enough to scare his opponent away, giving him the pot.

After an initial limper, WSOP bracelet winner John Reading raised to 1,500 from middle position, and he found two callers that saw a flop.

Action was checked to Reading, who fired out a 2,300 continuation bet, and the small blind check-raised to 6,000.

Only Reading called, and the turn was checked to the river.

Reading’s opponent then check-called his 10,000 bet, and both players tabled their hands.

For the first time this season, the MSPT has traveled to the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, WI, to host the inaugural $1,110 Club Poker Championship!

Kicking off the 11-Gold Card event series was the $400 NLH Mini Main Regional, which tallied a record 1,122 entrants through just two starting flights. A $374,370 prize pool was generated and divided among the 124 Day 2 players who had their eyes set on the title.

Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Season 16 Player of the Year Jake Long (11th Place - $5,172), Dave Gutfreund (15th Place - $4,064), 'Farmer' Phil Mader (20th Place - $2,956), Mike Puccio (24th Place - $2,401), and two-time MSPT Champ John Sun (40th Place - $1,256).

After a long day on the felt, it was Illinois native Dan Meyers who navigated his way to the finish line to capture a $53,377 first-place prize, along with his first Gold Card!
