David Larson Leads The Field After Day 1A

Flight A came to a close with the final three players advancing to Day 2 on Wednesday, December 4. David Larson held the chip lead with a stack of 263,000 after a stale mate on the money bubble that lasted for a bit. Eric Baldwin dealt out the final blow of the day when he eliminated Landon Brown in fourth place.

Level 15 came to a close with 27:45 left on the clock and blinds at 3,000-5,000 with a big blind ante of 5,000. That’s where blinds will roll back to depending on how things play out in Flight B/C that will begin at 11:10 am on Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3 here in the Venetian Poker Room. Registration will be open until the start of Level 10 on both of those days until around 6:00 pm, giving players plenty of time to jump into this $1,100 buy-in event with a $300,000 guarantee.

Landon Brown Eliminated on the Bubble by Eric Baldwin

Landon Brown met his demise when his pocket deuces ran into the A-K of Eric Baldwin on a board that ran out A-7-4-3-J.

Brown was eliminated on the hand, and Baldwin stacked up just shy of 200,000 to end the day. Day 1A has now come to a close with three players advancing to Day 2 on Wednesday here in the Venetian Poker Room.

Eugenio Peralta was all in with in the hole under the gun, but he was covered and dominated by the of Eric Baldwin on the big blind.

The board bricked out so that was all she wrote for Peralta. Baldwin stacked up 123,000 after collecting the pot.
