Day 1b attracted another 205 runners during Saturday's action, bringing the grand total to 368 entries, generating a $355,460 prize pool.

Of the 205 runners, just 23 of them remained when chips went into bags, with Minnesota’s Loki Abboud leading the charge with 526,000.

Following closely behind Abboud was Alan Ahmann, who was able to end the night with a healthy 505,000, while Darshan Pathak (467,000), Blaise Poupore (457,000), and Siphonh Tran (338,000) round out the top five stacks.

Others to punch their tickets to Day 2 were Mark Bloomberg (305,000), ”Wild” Bill Romer (255,000), MSPT Hall of Famer Rob WazWaz (224,000), two-time MSPT champ David Gonia (166,000), and MSPT champ Anthony Scarborough (144,000).

Among those to try and fall on Day 1a included MSPT champ Max Havlish, Donald Nimneh, Dave Sanderson, Jessica Anderson, and fellow MSPT champ Jason Sell, to name a few.

During the same time, a few more eliminations occurred at different tables, leaving 24 players remaining as the hand-for-hand process has now begun.

Steve Belland raised from middle position, and Darshan Pathak defended his big blind to see a flop.

Pathak check-called a continuation bet from Belland, and then did the same thing for his last 100,000 after the fell on the turn.

The tournament clock reads 47 players remaining in tonight’s flight, and 23 of them will look to join the other 18 players who already advanced to Day 2.
