Day 1c of the MSPT (Mid-States Poker Tour) Season 15 FireKeepers $1,110 Main Event attracted an incredible 1,088 runners, which, along with 1a's 646 and 1b’s 983, brought the field total up to 2,717 total entries.
At the end of the third and final flight, 130 players bagged and tagged with Andros Ioakimides bagging the top stack after putting 1,030,000 in his bag to end the night, good enough for the overall chip lead.
Others to bag big stacks where Bradley Mangune (749,000), Chase Hounshell (714,000), David Evans (650,000), and Connor Curtis (638,000), who round out the top five.
They were joined by WSOP bracelet winner Robert Mitchell (634,000), Matt Porter (489,000), Dionta James (447,000), and fellow WSOP bracelet winner Will Givens (382,000).
Among previous MSPT Main Event champs who fell short one Day 1c included Matt Davis, Dan Goepel, Brian Hou, Michael Esquivel, Matthew Davis and defending champ Travis Young.
Day 2 will get underway at 10:00 a.m. local time and play to a winner with 325 players (76 from Day 1a, 119 from 1b, and 130 from 1c) returning to the felt.
The top 279 finishers will get paid at least $2,371, with the eventual winner walking away with a $381,929 first-place prize.
