Audrain check-raised to 12,500 after his opponent led out with a 5,000 bet, and then snap-called their all-in.

Audrain was ahead after flopping two-pair, and the turn improved him to a full house, while the river sent his opponent to the rail.

For the first time ever, the MSPT made its way to St. Charles, MO, and players have been duking it out over the past week inside the Ameristar Casino for their Season 17 Missouri Poker State Championship!

In Event #2: $400 Tag Team NLH, 343 players took to the field, generating a $54,880 prize pool paid out to the top 18 teams.

Among those to cash but fall before the final table were Brett Hagopian & Kevin Shipp (10^th Place - $1,044), Brian Lerner & Angela Williams (12^th Place - $1,044), Po Ying & Li Liang (14^th Place - $878), and Jeff Warren & Bradley Cunningham (18^th Place - $768).

Walking away the top team was MSPT Champ Chris Audrain & Benjamin "Pyzza" Teston, who took home the top prize along with their first Gold Cards!

Four players took to a flop for 2,300 a pop, and action was checked to the turn.

Two more knocks on the table saw Jesse Keel fire out a 3,000 bet from the cutoff, and only Justin Coliny called from the button.

Once the paired the board on the river, Keel led out with an 11,000 bet, only to fold to a 25,000 raise from Coliny.

Four players limped in to see a flop, and action was checked to Donald Havener, who fired out a 1,200 bet from the big blind.

Havener only found one call from the player under the gun, and the two went heads-up to the turn.

A 2,000 bet was then tossed into the middle by Havener, and he called a 5,000 raise to see the complete the board on the river.

Havener then kept his foot on the gas, leading out with an uncontested 3,000 bet to win the pot.
