Created 3/29/2026 1:10:25 AM CST by Anthony Thompson

Day 1c of the MSPT Season 17 $1,110 Missouri Poker State Championship at the Ameristar Casino attracted 28 runners, which, along with the 241 from the previous two flights, brought the total field up to 630 entries, shattering the $300k guarantee.

The massive field generated a $512,160 prize pool, and the top players will get paid a minimum of $2,254, while the eventual winner will walk away with a $107,691 first-place prize, along with the MSPT Season 17 Missouri Poker State Championship title!

At the end of the third and final flight, 32 players bagged and tagged with Gabe Attoun bagging the overall chip lead after he started catching steam in the final levels to put a whopping 887,000 in his bag.

Another player to catch steam throughout the day was MSPT Champ Chris Audrain, who was able to run up an impressive 483,000 stack, while Ryan Jaworski (419,000), Kanat Ozturk (390,000), and Horace Ingram (387,000) rounded out the top five.

They were joined by Bryan Skreens (373,000), WSOP bracelet winner Blair Hinkle (337,000), MSPT Champ Jeff Copeland (311,000), Dalton Jones (290,000), and MSPT Hall of Famer Keith Heine (222,000).

Among those to try and fall on Day 1c included MSPT Champ Jeff Sauer, Tim Vance, James Grimes, defending champ Brian Landon, Peter Brooks, and MSPT Hall of Famer Josh Reichard, just to name a few.

The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 59 (5 from Day 1a, 22 from 1b, and 32 from 1c) – will return at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, March 29th, to play down to a winner.

The MSPT live reporting crew will be on the floor throughout the remainder of the tournament to provide updates, so keep it here to catch the action!
