For the first time this season, the MSPT made its way back home to the tundra, and over the past week, players have been inside Running Aces Casino & Racetrack for the Season 17 Minnesota Poker State Championship!

In Event #9: $300 Monster Stack NLH Seniors, 195 elderly limpers took to the felt, generating a $47,775 prize pool that paid out the top 21 seniors.

Among those to cash but fall before the final table were Victor Palomar (10th Place - $909), Mark Bloomberg (14th Place - $717), MSPT Champ Brian Soja (16th Place - $621), Steve Belland (17th Place - $621), and Dan Favreau (21st Place - $573).

In the end, it was Ontario, Canada native Denis Ward who strolled his way to a victory and claimed the top prize!
