Day 13 of the MSPT $1,100 Main Event 316 at the Venetian Resort was the largest of the group, attracting more entries than the first four starting flights combined, as 618 was the final number at the end of registration, bringing the total field up to 1,068 with one more flight still to go.

It took another 17 levels to hit the hard stop of 68 players, with Peter Walsworth securing the most chips with a whopping 1,189,000, good enough for the overall top stack for Day 2.

The only other player to clip the milly malk was Tigran Mkryan, as he put exactly 1,000,000 into his bag at the end of the night while Paul Hoefer (853,000), Hon Cheong Lee (845,000), and Cory Rock (843,000) rounded out the top five stacks of the flight.

They were joined by MSPT Champ Lee Rzentkowski (639,000), Jonah Labrancher (456,000), Scott Sisler (434,000), WSOP bracelet winner Brian Altman (271,000), and Ben Palmer (271,000), as each will be returning for Day 2 action.

Among those not as lucky at the felt included Hayley Hanna, Jeremy Becker, MSPT Champ Tim Burden, Lily Lotfy, Michael Rossitto, and three-time bracelet winner Men “The Master” Nguyen.

The surviving players from each flight will return tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14^th, and will play down to a winner.

Slaven Popov was all-in preflop for 56,000 from the big blind and was called by Seunghyun Nam from middle position, along with Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss from the cutoff.

The flop was checked to the turn, where Nam led out with a 40,000 bet, and Nemeskeri-Kiss called to see the complete the board on the river.

Nam then fired out a 55,000 bet only to fold his hand after Nemeskeri-Kiss raised all-in for 223,000.

Nemeskeri-Kiss then rolled over for a set of aces, and it was well out in front of Popov’s , ending his night on the bubble.

A series of preflop raises led to all-in action between Jonah Labranche from the cutoff and Robert Schulz from the button, with Schulz holding 243,000 effective.

Schulz was ahead holding a pair of ladies, and they were able to stay pretty after the sweaty runout, securing him a double on the bubble.

Sang Sim raised all-in for 52,000 from under the gun, and Alan Brand went over the top from late position, giving him isolation.

The turn kept things sweaty as it paired Torosyan, but it was the river that cracked Merwin’s cowboys and secured him the pot.
