The second of two MSPT back to back Main Events has begun with the beginning of Day 1A of the $1,600 Main Event.
Last year saw Shea Quintin take home his first MSPT title after beating Yulia Lisichkina for his career best score of $324,946. With Lisichkina in the field at the moment, time will tell if Quintin will be back to defend his title of $1,600 MSPT main event champion.
Many others have already registered in the tournament, such as Renato Spahiu, John Dennehey, Aaron Massey, and Reg Powell. Each one of them looking for more accolades on their illustrious resumes.
Players will sit down with 30,000 in chips, with registration remaining open until level 9 and registration unlimited. Those who do not find a bag in this flight will have the ability to fire into the following days two flights.
Coverage today will be primarily focused on the second day of the $1,100 MSPT Main Event, with a winner to be crowned in that event. Stay tuned to MSPT.com for updates on the following two days.
