Day 1c of the MSPT Season 16 JACK Cleveland $1,110 Main Event attracted another 363 runners, which, along with 1a's 211 and 1b’s 318, brought the field total up to 892 entries.

The massive field generated a $863,740 prize pool, and the top 99 players will get paid a minimum of $1,800, while the eventual winner will walk away with a $165,303 first-place prize, along with the MSPT Season 16 JACK Cleveland Main Event title!

At the end of the final flight, just 40 players bagged and tagged, with Merritt Kuhn bagging a whopping 987,000, which is good enough for the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.

Following hot on Kuhn’s tail was Haroldo Perez, who sat atop the chip counts for most of the day and will take a healthy 894,000 into Day 2.

Nick Lanzi was able to find new life on a different bullet and was able to bag 616,000 while Matthew Parnes (599,000) and John 'Johnny RunGood' Gallaher (579,000) rounded out the top five stack.

Back-to-back Player of the Year Umut Ozturk hit a bit of a rough patch before registration closed, but was able to find some traction to bring 485,000 into Day 2, while WSOP bracelet winner Billy Kopp (475,000), Rodney Colson (473,000), Jessica Anderson (280,000), MSPT Hall of Famer Chris Moon (147,000), and the MSPT’s top casher DJ Buckley (137,000) all found a Day 2 berth.

Among those who fell short on Day 1c included Jake Long, MSPT champ Anthony Scarborough, Dionta James, Chad Stone, and Scott Sisler.

Day 2 will get underway at 11:15 a.m. local time and play to a winner with 99 players (24 from Day 1a, 35 from 1b, and 40 from 1c) returning to the felt.

The then paired the board on the turn, bringing possible chop outs, but the completed the board on the river and eliminated him on the bubble.

So far, 59 players have punched their ticket into Day 2, and the final group of 40 hopefuls will look to add their names to that list tonight.

All who make it through until the end of play will return tomorrow, Sunday, August 31^st, at 11:15 a.m. for Day 2, where the remaining players from all starting flights will combine and play until a winner is declared.

MSPT champ Lee Rzentkowski raised all in from the hijack, and Jamey Kramer called off his 17,000 stack from the big blind.

Kramer woke up with the best made hand in the big blind, and the flop improved him to top set, while also giving Rzentkowski a Broadway draw.

The turn was a great sight for Kramer, but the dealer then followed with the on the river to complete Broadway for Rzentkowski, ending Kramer’s night and starting the hand-for-hand process with 41 players remaining.

MSPT champ Lee Rzentkowski open-jammed 70,000 under the gun, and Kanat Ozturk called off his slightly shorter stack from the button.

The turn left Ozturk needing a jack on the river to stay alive, but the completed the board and ended his Main Event.
