The second and final starting flight of the MSPT Season 15 Grand Falls $1,110 buy-in, $200K GTD is in the books after 16 Levels of play.

Day 1b attracted another 270 runners during Saturday's action, bringing the grand total to an incredible 513 entries (243 from Day 1a; 270 from 1b), generating a $496,110 prize pool.

Last night saw Kevin Berthelsen take an earlier exit than anticipated but he bounced back by clipping the milly mark (1,004,000) to hold a sizable lead over the 29 advancing players from this flight and will take the overall chip lead into Day 2.

Following behind Berthelsen was Jason Peterson who was able to end the night with a healthy 820,000 while Alex Phrommany (765,000), 2022 Grand Falls champ Beau “Don K. Nado” Wilshire (724,000), and fellow MSPT champ Mo Nuwwarah (609,000) round out the top five stacks.

Others to punch their tickets to Day 2 were MSPT champ Jason Sell (584,000), Tanner Pray (572,000), Paul Cross (283,000), two-time MSPT champ Taylor Howard (210,000), and MSPT champ Anthony Scarborough (118,000).

Action folded to Mike Estes who raised all in for 84,000 from the button and MSPT champ Beau "Don K. Nado" Wilshire looked him up from the big blind.

Estes rolled over a dominating ace and saw a queen in the window on the flop, but it came with a sweat as it gave Wilshire a Broadway draw.

MSPT champ Beau "Don K. Nado" Wilshire raised from late position and then called the small blind’s 170,000 three-bet jam.

Wilshire rolled over a dominating ace until the flop fell pairing his opponent's queen.

Luckily for Wilshire, the dealer then turned the completing his Broadway draw and the river eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

MSPT champ Mo Nuwwarah opened under the gun and found two callers which included Jack Do from the big blind.

A flop was then fanned out by the dealer and action was checked to Nuwwarah who tossed out a 15,000 continuation bet.

Action folded back to Do who check-called, and he did the same for 35,000 after the was turned.

Once the completed the board on the river, Do checked his option one last time only to release his hand into the muck after Nuwwarah put him all in.

Shane Frahm Ships Monster Stack!

For the first time this season, the MSPT has traveled to Grand Falls Casino in Larchwood, IA for their first Trophy Series!

Kicking off the four-trophy event series was Event #1: $250 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack, which saw 155 hunters take to the tables and created a $31,000 prize pool that was reserved for the top 18 players.

Among those to cash but fall before the final table were Brett Lambert (10th Place - $589), Michael Wallin (12th Place - $589) Jon Maras (14th Place - $496), Bradley Pausch (15th Place - $496), and Jordan Gass (17th Place - $434).

When the dust settled, it was Shane Frahm who came out on top with the lion's share of the prize pool to claim the first Sapdey trophy of the series!
