Himmelbrand Ousted in Back-to-Back Hands
Created (2/18/2023 10:15:36 PM by Anthony Thompson)

Greg Himmelbrand found himself on another late-night exit after losing back-to-back hands and it all started when he called a 93,000 all-in bet from Ed Reed.

Ed Reed: kh qd
Greg Himmelbrand: ac 10d

Himmelbrand was ahead and live until the 9c ks 9s flop paired Reed’s king.

The 8c turn didn’t change a thing and the qh river secured Reed his double-up.

In the very next hand, Brett Ballentine raised from middle position and then called Himmelbrand’s 30,000 all in bet from the button.

Greg Himmelbrand: 6d 6c
Brett Ballentine: ah 5c

This time around Himmelbrand was ahead with an already made hand and the qh 3h jc flop didn’t change a thing.

The 9c turn was safe for Himmelbrand and just as the dealer was giving him hope, they crushed it by dropping the as on the river making him one of the final eliminations of the night.

Brett Ballentine - 300,000
Ed Reed - 235,000
Greg Himmelbrand - Eliminated
