Jerric Jiang Soars to the Top to Lead the 12 Advancing Players After Day 1B
Created (1/18/2025 11:38:43 PM by Anthony Thompson)

A lengthy day of 19 Levels has wrapped up during the MSPT Season 16 100 GRAND STACK $1,110 Main Event at Sycuan Casino & Resort as Day 1b drew another 114 entries to bring the two-day total thus far to 228, making sure the $300K GTD will be eclipsed with tomorrow’s final two starting flights.

Of those 114 entries, only 12 players remained when chips went into bags, and it was Jerric Jiang who went on a late-night heater to bag the top stack.

Jiang was able to spin up an average stack to 1,680,000 to put in his bag at the end of the night edging out two-time bracelet winner Justin Lapka (1,540,000), and Keith Eoll (1,520,000) for the top stack of this flight.

Rounding out the top five stacks was WSOP bracelet winner Brad Gafford (1,465,000), and Bradley Miller (1,275,000) while David Vannoy (1,015,000) was the only other player to clip the milly mark.

Others who found a Day 2 berth during this flight included Susan Millstone (665,000), Rodney Danger (640,000), Peter Aran (500,000), and Janet Burke (240,000) are just a few more of the players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 12 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

The final two starting flights will get underway tomorrow with Day 1d getting started bright and early at 10:00 a.m. while Day 1e will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Make sure to tune in to see who makes it through to Day 2.
