Created (1/20/2025 3:13:18 AM by Anthony Thompson)

The final starting flight of the inaugural MSPT Season 16 100 GRAND STACK $1,110 Main Event at Sycuan Casino & Resort attracted 48 runners, which along with 1a's 114, 1b’s 114, Day 1c’s 50, and Day 1d’s 148, brought the total field up to 474 entries, blasting past the $300k guarantee.

At the end of the fourth and final flight, just five players bagged and tagged with Steve Hoang finding a late-night surge to climb to the top of the counts to take the overall chip lead into Day 2 with 2,660,000.

Hoang was able to collect over half of the chips on play while Rudy Cervantes (730,000), Jared Griener (480,000), David "Digger" Vig (475,000), and Rudy Mamo (455,000) were the only others to survive the flight.
