Day 1b of the MSPT 2025 $1,110 Wisconsin Poker State Championship has come to an end at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino after seeing an impressive 568 entries recorded, taking the two-day total thus far to 914, solidifying that the $1,000,000 GTD will be broken with one flight still to go.
Another full day of action took course, knocking down the 560 entries to just 63 players as the hard stop was reached in Level 16 with 1:08 remaining at 10,000/20,000/20,000 when Wisconsin native Sultan Ahmed put on a display to end the night with 2,205,000 to edge out MSPT Hall of Famer Aaron Johnson for the top Day 1b stack, as they were the only players to clip the two-milly mark..

Rounding out the top five stacks were Andrew Loomis (1,685,000), Jake Manning (1,625,000) & Tommy Zoubka (1,600,000), while WSOP bracelet winner Michael Wilklow (1,545,000), Loki Abboud (1,180,000), Dennis Stevermer (740,000), and the MSPT’s top casher DJ Buckley (605,000) are just a few more of the players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 39 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

Among those to try and fall on Day 1b included MSPT champ Bee Yang, David Gutfreund, Angela Gambino, Ryan Eamon, and MSPT champ Dan Goepel, just to name a few.

The final starting flight will begin tomorrow at noon local time, providing players with their last chance to secure a spot in Sunday's Day 2.
Late registration and re-entries will remain open through Level 12 (approximately 9:10 p.m.)
