Day 1c of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) FireKeepers $1,110 Main Event attracted a massive 996 runners, which along with 1a's 580 and 1b’s 895, brought the total field up to 2,471 entries, setting yet another MSPT record at FireKeepers.
At the end of the third and final flight, 119 players bagged and tagged with Caleb King bagging the top stack with 675,000.
Others to bag big stacks where James Gregg (585,000), two-time MSPT champ Jason Zarlenga (580,00), Anthony Sedlak (480,000), and Ryan Scully (467,000) who round out the top five.
They were joined by MSPT champs Umut Ozturk (393,000), Jason Ramos (368,000), Aaron Massy (331,000), Tim Burden (250,000), and MSPT Hall of Famer Rob WazWaz (219,000).
Among those to see their night end on Day 1c were MSPT Hall of Famers Rich Alsup & Aaron Johnson, along with former MSPT FireKeepers champions Bobby Noel & Mike Shanahan.
The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 293 (69 from Day 1a, 105 from 1b, and 119 from 1c) – will return at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 14th to play down to a winner.
