Mike Reisner Edges Out Ryan Ramsdell to Lead 29 Survivors After Day 1B
Created (2/24/2024 1:59:34 AM by Anthony Thompson)

Almost another full day of action was played to its conclusion at the MSPT $1,110 Missouri State Poker Championship at Hollywood Casino.

The second of three flights drew 235 entries to bring the two-day total thus far to 359, and with that number, the $300K GTD has already been surpassed with one flight remaining.

Of those 235 entries, only 29 players remained when chips went into bags with Mike Reisner (653,000) edging out Ryan Ramsdell (610,000) to claim the top stack on the flight.

Rounding out the top five stacks were Nick Syrigos (521,000), Woosop Moore (465,000), and Tracy Moon (453,000).

Much like Day 1a, the final levels of the night saw an onslaught of casualties amongst the remaining tables in the final level of play that led to a lot of players riding roller coasters with their stack sizes before becoming official for the evening.

Several other familiar players will also be joining the aforementioned five. HB Sablotny (406,000), George Harris (371,000), David To (272,000), Jeff Copeland (210,000), and WSOP bracelet winner Blair Hinkle (117,000) are just a few more of the players to add their names to the Day 2 roster along with the 14 to have already advanced from Day 1a.

The final starting flight will get underway tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. Late registration and re-entries will remain open through Level 12 (approximately 11:40 p.m.).

Make sure to tune in to see who makes it through to Day 2.

Sablotny Cools Off Ronko in Set-Over-Set
Created (2/24/2024 12:59:42 AM by Anthony Thompson)

Scott Clark opened for 18,000 from early position only to have HB Sablotny three-bet to 75,000 directly to his left.

Action was on Boris Ronko who called from late position and Clark quickly got out of the way paving a flop.

Sablotny moved all-in and Ronko snapped-off his shorter stack.

Boris Ronko:
HB Sablotny:

It was a cooler situation for Ronko as his set of ladies were second best to Sablotny’s set of aces, and the turn left him needing the case queen to stay alive.

Unfortunately for Ronko, the completed the board on the river and ended his night.

HB Sablotny - 490,000
