Day 1c of the MSPT Season 15 Sycuan Showdown Series $1,110 Main Event is in the books after drawing 192 entries, the biggest field of all three starting flights, bringing the overall field up to 374.
At the end of the third and final flight, just 21 players bagged and tagged with Sinan Shathaya sitting atop the counts.
Shathaya sat atop the counts for most of the day and was able to spin-up a whopping 1,070,000 stack, good enough for the overall chip lead.
Others to bag big stacks where Bret Eberhart (672,000), Jeremy Kottler (628,000), Justin Muse (421,000), & Whit Brayton (415,000), as they were rounded out the top five stacks.
They were joined by Kyle Miholich (348,000), Ron Scott (340,000), Adrian Lopez (281,000), Daria Ivantey (176,000), and Sherry Hammers (96,000).
The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 40 (5 from Day 1a, 14 from 1b, and 21 from 1c) – will return at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, September 22nd to play down to a winner.
The MSPT live reporting crew will be on the floor throughout the remainder of the tournament to provide updates, so keep it here to catch the action!
