Day 1c of the inaugural $1,100 Diamond Poker Championship MAJOR Event has come to an end at Talking Stick Resort, as the final starting flight brought in an astonishing 1,397 runners, which, along with 1a's 717 and 1b’s 1,106, brought the field total up to 3,220 entries, generating a whopping $3,121,900 prize pool.
At the end of the final flight, just 154 players bagged and tagged with Brian Paneth, bagging the top stack of 1,096,000, good enough for the second overall chip stack heading into Day 2.

Round out the top stacks of the flight were Rich Dixon (912,000), Ryan Hunsinger (815,000), Garret Reisz (801,000), and Shawn Hall (797,000), while two-time MSPT champ Ken Baime (696,000), fellow champ Chris Audrain (657,000), Tim Acker (656,000), and Clint Wolcyn (616,000) all found a Day 2 berth.

Among those who took their shot but fell short on Day 1c included two-time MSPT champ Angela Jordison, Zach Gutierrez, WSOP bracelet winner Anthony Marquez, fellow bracelet winner John Reading, and MSPT Hall of Famer Gerald Cunniff, just to name a few.

Day 2 will get underway at 10:15 a.m. local time and play to a winner, with players 345 (74 from Day 1a, 117 from 1b, and 154 from 1c) returning to the felt.
